A Muzika é um Sinal! Jah I Ras releases a beautiful video with heavyweight partnerships!

The band JAH I RAS has just released the first music video paving the way for their new album, "JAHGUBE". Scheduled for release in November 2016, the production is under the "Homens do Mato" label, in partnership with the band Mato Seco.
Chosen as the first single from the album, "A Muzika é um Sinal" depicts man's sick greed for power, always wanting to be richer and smarter than others, when in reality we are all fragile, human, equal and full of doubts, and yet beloved children of GOD.
"I live here in the forest seeking my cure..." - sings Ras Kadhu, suggesting that honest work and the forest are the only forces that can bring man back to his perfect reality.

The video also featured the especially special participation of Ponto de Equilíbrio band drummer Lucas Kastrup.
"I usually travel frequently throughout Brazil and beyond, but being at Céu do Mapiá, in the Amazon rainforest, was undoubtedly one of the most special trips. Simply unforgettable. My participation happened in a totally spontaneous way, and just like the brothers in the Jah I Ras band I am also a practitioner of Santo Daime since January 2002, and I developed some academic research on daimista music, despite never having gone to the Amazonian headquarters, Mapiá." - Lucas reports, who after the trip went to Gustah's studio to record the aketê drum, present on the track "A Muzika é um Sinal".
The video also featured Samuel Freitas, a native caboclo, woodsman, wild man and the one who guides the canoe in the video. He was one of the first residents of the Céu do Mapiá community, arriving there as a child, grandson of pioneers Padrinho Eduardo and Madrinha Brilhante.

"I dreamed of the images of this video exactly ten years ago. Me arriving at Padrinho Sebastião's house by canoe, with the Ethiopian flag of the Tribe of Judah and at the bow there was an Indian. For me that dream was remarkable. Today, after seeing these images, I feel even more fulfilled knowing it wasn't just a dream, but a spiritual reality that was about to be molded, materialized, modernized and shared so many minds could access this richness that is our Brazilian Jungle " - says vocalist Ras Kadhu.
"I met Kadhu and Bruno a few years ago, and their struggle to bring Rasta people together at Céu de Santa Maria de Sião. Besides the laudable action, they also having an incredible band made me admire them even more. From the first time I watched Jah i Ras live I felt it was a special band, and that it put this concept up there; in heaven. - André exclaims.

JAHGUBE ARRIVING
This November "JAHGUBE" arrives, the new album from Jah i Ras with production by Ras Kadhu and Gustah Echosound, which had "A Muzika é um Sinal" mixed and mastered by Rafael Paz (Unidade 76), photography and video direction by American Dávid T.
