Akanni-I Records releases a single with Army, from the Virgin Islands, and consolidates as a backing band!

Akanni-I Records has just released its first single featuring singer Army, from the Virgin Islands, one of the biggest names in local reggae. Titled "Shining Star", Army recorded the single over the "Book of Life" Riddim by Akanni-I. Born in 2015 with the goal of producing Riddims, Akanni-I has already recorded various voices from the Island, as well as Brazil and other countries, which will be released gradually. NEW DIRECTIONS

Due to its quality and commitment, Akanni-I expanded its area of operation. Now, besides Riddims, Akanni has become a Backing Band, with notable influences from Reggae VI. Through singer and producer RafharI - from the Uniridd Project - it had the opportunity to accompany singer De Apostle, also from the Virgin Islands, on his first visit to Brazil last July. De Apostle came accompanied by singers Shine I and Maccabee, who participated in some shows on the Razor Blade tour. The Akanni-I Crew Band is formed by Pedro Martins Moraes on drums, Cristhyan C. Munoz on rhythm guitar, Gustaman on bass, vocals and backing vocals, Thiago Beck on keyboards and backing vocals, Richard Teixeira on lead guitar, and vocals and backing with RafharI.
