Cidade Verde Sounds celebrates 10 years with a new album and 30 million YouTube views!

The year 2017 is proving very special for Cidade Verde Sounds. About to complete 10 years on the road, the duo formed by Adonai (vocals) and Dub Mastor (dj/beatmaker) have plenty of reasons to celebrate.

In addition to celebrating the impressive milestone of 30 million views on their official YouTube channel and more than 1 million fans on Facebook, the group is also preparing for the release of their fourth album, "UmDois", which will bring the intersection of contemporary reggae, already characteristic of the band, with rap and hip-hop.

Currently the band is touring the entire country to bid farewell to the "O Jogo" album tour, which has already passed through 23 states, 150 cities and brought around 300 thousand spectators to the shows. For Adonai, the vocalist, the 10-year career mark and the high numbers on social media are reasons to celebrate.

Dub Mastor, music producer and DJ, says the new album will surprise new and old fans alike.

The new album will surprise a lot. It will be a new Cidade Verde, respecting the roots but seeking unusual horizons. It will also be an album geared toward the dance floor. We will explore Rap and Dancehall a bit more, something we didn't explore much on previous albums."
