Cidade Verde Sounds gained the national scene in mid-2014 and since then has reached major milestones in their career. In addition to having released 6 official albums, several singles and music videos, the group performed at major festivals such as Encontro das Tribos, João Rock and Forró da Lua Cheia and in dozens of cities throughout Brazil. Also noteworthy are partnerships with important artists such as Sizzla, Ponto de Equilíbrio and Negra Li. But the purpose of the news is not just to revisit the past, but to talk about the present and future. The group is back after a 3-year hiatus of shows and new music where vocalist Adonai dedicated himself to a solo project. Now, Cidade Verde has just announced that it is returning with everything for 2021. The first single from this new phase has just been released on digital platforms. The song "Luz que Inspira a Alma" is melodic and speaks to both Roots fans and those who have always enjoyed the modern sounds of Cidade Verde. A new album is already in the production phase and will once again feature major participation. Hélio Bentes (Ponto de Equilíbrio) and Tati Portela have already been confirmed, as well as international guests who will be confirmed soon.
