Last Friday (27/7), Digitaldubs released the clip "Estudando o Dub", which is a toast not only to DUB itself, but also to the art of animation.
Produced by Aleixo Leite, the video brings to life the Brazilian group's totally unexpected and mesmerizing single featuring Tom Zé and Lee 'Scratch' Perry.

This unprecedented meeting, with a danceable and psychedelic result, was led by DJ and producer Marcus MPC, from Digitaldubs, who brought together Tom Zé, composer of the album “Estudando o Samba” which was the starting point of the single, and Jamaican Lee Perry, one of the fundamental names in the history of reggae and dub.
Tom Zé and Lee Perry are pioneers and heroes of experimental pop music and are 81 years old! They didn't know each other and I thought they should know each other..." – says MPC, who had the idea of producing the single after hearing the song “Toc”, from “Estudando o Samba”.
The lyrics play with the phrase “open the door / open the door”, a kind of mantra for us to realize the opportunities that appear – in music and in life.
