Marielle Present! Dada Yute releases a video honoring the activist murdered in March of this year!

In Black Consciousness Month, Dada Yute releases her new clip "Marielle Presente", a tribute to Marielle Franco (Brazilian sociologist, politician, feminist and human rights defender), cowardly murdered on March 14, 2018, in a case that has not yet been elucidated. Recorded in the North Zone of São Paulo and at Escadão de Marielle (located on Rua Teodoro Sampaio), the video is produced and directed by Pietro Schlager and Luiz Corrêa. Dada Yute has established himself as one of the artists who carry very relevant social criticisms in his art. The musician was invited to participate in the inauguration events of the “Permanent Memorial in Honor of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade”, at the United Nations headquarters complex, in New York.
