A mix aimed at uniting the traditional sound of reggae with the musical balance of Bahia: this is A Unity. With 10 years on the road and after a successful crowdfunding campaign, the band is now releasing its second album, “Todos em Um”, which features guest appearances by renowned names in the alternative scene, such as São Paulo's Monkey Jhayam, Nigerian singer-songwriter Okwei Odili and Bahians Duda Diamba and MC Coscarque.
“Todos em Um” is the realization of a reggae music project with the musical swing that is typical of Bahia. After six years creating and working on the 11 tracks that make up the album and the support of fans through crowdfunding via the internet - which made recording possible in one of the most renowned studios in Salvador -, Aunidade entered strongly into the main streaming and download platforms, spaces that still lack the presence of independent reggae music from Bahia.

THE UNIT
The band, formed by Deni Rodrigues (vocals), Cláudio Silva (keyboard and backing vocals), Jell Silva (rhythm guitar), Joel Silva (double bass), Jonatas Duarte (lead guitar) and Jordan Charles (drums), was formed in the Subúrbio Ferroviário de Salvador, among friends who wanted to play reggae and who were adding musicians interested in the style's Salvador scene. With the influence of the main classics, such as Bob Marley, Steel Pulse and Groundation, Aunidade bets on a more Bahian sound and is used to playing for large audiences, being part of the lineup of attractions at the last Carnival in Salvador, some editions of the Republic of Reggae and festivals outside the state, such as Celebração Reggae, in Recife.
