Clinton Fearon celebrates 50 years in music with an EP and a fresh idea in reggae!
Master Clinton Fearon, who began his career in 1969, is now completing 50 years of music. Known for being one of the most prominent members of "The Gladiators" and for a very successful solo career with his "Boogie Brown Band", Clinton now releases a new EP with an unprecedented idea.
(EP cover)
"Time", which will be available on vinyl and on all digital platforms on June 7, is the first song released simultaneously in 4 versions - Reggae, Jazz, Dub and Instrumental. "I started writing this song in the Jazz version, but its vibe in Reggae was touching me too. Finally I decided to keep both versions, the first for more relaxing moments and the second for a dancing mood. Later I also created the DUB and instrumental versions", Clinton said. The Jazz version also features legendary Jamaican guitarist Ernest Ranglin, an icon for Fearon since the beginning of his career.

The EP anticipates the new album scheduled for September 2019. About the song, Clinton adds: "Time is involved in every face of our lives; it never stops, and each of us only has a certain amount of it to live. What we do with our time is very important."
