In times of hate, love in its genuine form is the São Paulo band's main focus today.The termLover’s Reggaebecame popular in the 1980s/1990s, when the great Jamaican singers overcame the barriers of discourse, placing reggae music on a widely popular level by singing songs that talk about love. Artists such as Dennis Brown, Horace Andy, Freddie McGregor, Sugar Minott and Maxi Priest are the main references in the song “Força e Leveza”, composed by Marcus Rosa, performed by the band Veja Luz.The single/lyric video is the first work from the EP "Enquanto a Cidade Dorme", which will be released in the second half of 2020. It is a record of the production process and exchanges between the band and the artist Felipe Borges (illustration and animation), one of the main exponents of the movement known as Afrofuturism, in Brazil."It is necessary to provoke reflections and, by bringing the word love to the fore, within a context of exclusion and violence, to which we have historically been subjected, it is, above all, a way of saying NO to indifference, in a poetic, subtle and easy to understand way. Loving in times of hate is a revolutionary act."- points out the band Veja Luz. The EP's mix was created by producer Leandro Kintê (Kintê House Productions - SP), who also carried out co-production and mastering with sound engineer Rafael Paz (Unit 76) from Brasília-DF.
