Campo Limpo Paulista hosts Bêca Arruda and Rastarafi Mix's Reggae Roots!

Surforeggae now invades the welcoming atmosphere of Campo Limpo Paulista. A city near Jundiaí, in the interior of São Paulo, at the farm hotel Morada do Verde. A show took place that we would at least classify as moving; Bêca Arruda and Rastafari Mix did the honors, delivering their sounds and message to an audience of a few hundred young people seeking quality music and peace... as the venue was by a lake, where the smell of the countryside and bonfires gave a special tone to the event. I mention and value this because those from São Paulo leave the club scene and see only the trail of man and his art of cement and iron. In short, who wouldn't take a trip listening to reggae and enjoying the atmosphere of a place like this? A bit hard not to get involved and comment. Certainly, the local audience was perhaps not even half of what the event deserved, because on the same day, at Adler in Vinhedo, Tribo de Jah was playing — a clash of choices. Even so, the place had a good crowd to, around midnight, enjoy the band Rastafari Mix. Those who know... it makes you want to cry. Steel Pulse, Alpha Blondy, The Gladiators, Bob Marley, and other gems are part of this band's Roots repertoire. Everything very well played with authority and personality. The bass seemed to control the heartbeat, and the keyboard harmony gave the final touch to all this magic. Mix Black Anjo, with vocal problems, gave way to the vocalist of Leões de Israel who tore up the microphones. After many classics, Rastafari Mix left the stage to make room for the night's other attraction: Bêca Arruda. The local audience already knew the figure. He and his band arrived at full speed delivering their music and energy. Most of their songs, on the crowd's lips, stirred until the end of the night. Bêca and his troupe made the kind of sound made for people to dance and consequently unite, leaving the venue full of good vibes. Bêca gave his show, Rastafari Mix delivered its message and everyone left very satisfied with what they experienced on the night of August 24. With impeccable organization by Kibalada, the event unfolded without any trouble until its end at 3:30 am. Point for the organizers for competence, point for the bands that did, and did very well, their part... and point for the crowd that enjoyed the night with lots of peace and music in the air.
