On August 1, Centro Cultural São Paulo presented the launch show of the live CD "Pilares da Justiça" by band Leões de Israel. The event was also one of the most remarkable gatherings of good Brazilian Roots Reggae. Illustrious guests such as the folks from bands Reggae Style, Rastafari Mix and Caribbean David Hubbard showed up, supported the work of the São Paulo guys from Leões de Israel and played along with them. True Reggae admirers were present and could enjoy a strictly "Roots" night.

The band played original songs like "Filhos Rebeldes", "Far Away From Jah-Jah", "Chuva Kaya", and covers of great names like Peter Broggs, The Gladiators and Bob Marley. The essence of "Roots and Culture" was felt with every song performed by the band. Those who couldn't catch this show truly missed one of the events most faithful to Root Reggae ever held in São Paulo by an independent band. It was, in fact, an honor for us to support this event.
