Festival with Midnite, Peter Broggs, and 17 more major national Reggae names promise to shake São Paulo!

On December 14, the biggest Reggae Festival in Brazil, "A maratona do Reggae", takes place at Anhembi in São Paulo. Produced by SP Produções and organized by GMG Comercialização e Produção Integrada, the event will feature the biggest names in the genre such as Tribo de Jah, Édson Gomes, Planta & Raiz, Adão Negro, Macucos, Mystical Roots, Dionorina, Djambi, Rasta Joint, among others. Plus international acts Midnite and Peter Broggs. The festival promises to shake up the city; after all, more than 12 hours of party are scheduled and it's not just the shows that will attract the audience — during performances there will be raffles of surfboards, skateboards, roller skates, CDs, t-shirts and other prizes.
The Festival also participates in the hunger relief campaign, suggesting that attendees bring a kilo of non-perishable food. Regarding infrastructure, besides an area reserved for drinks and fast food, stands will be set up for CD sales, clothing, tattoo studios and hairdressers. There is great expectation from organizers regarding the festival's success, as approximately 50,000 people are expected.
