Fusion of rhythms at Rock In Rio Café Salvador highlights the best of the alternative scene!
The night of the 27th at Rock In Rio Salvador was marked by performances of several different rhythms. The "musical journey" was started by Banda Diamba, which got the crowd going, playing old songs and tracks from their new album, which will be released soon. Right after, mixing afro, rock, maracatu and reggae, came Banda "Mano Véio". Quite well known, being one of the most prestigious bands on Salvador's Alternative Scene, Mano Véio showed their sound, putting on a percussion and musicianship show that pleased the audience greatly.
To close the night, Rafael Pondé was in charge, also known for playing various styles such as reggae, pop and mpb. The repertoire had a bit of everything, and the band conducted the show with great rapport. This is just the beginning of a project that should happen every week at Rock In Rio Café Salvador, and which has everything it takes to succeed.
