Julian Marley, son of the great reggae legend Bob Marley, has been dedicating himself daily to the style his father created and spread across all continents. Always true to the music, Julian released in 1989 his first album titled "Uprising," name of his new song. In 1996 "A Lion in The Morning" was the name given to his new work, showing his face to the whole world. After a long time without performing, he returned with his most recent album "A Time & Place" in 2003, which is proof of his musical development, an effort that reflects his maturity and sophistication. The record’s production had collaboration from the international production team of his youth, the "Ghetto," founded by his brothers Stephen and Ziggy Marley. The family connection goes far: the recording of this new album took place on "Hope Road" in Kingston where his father created some of his most important works. His new work "A Time & Place" clearly reflects his roots, with some influences of hip-hop, yet not leaving behind hit-like sounds with messages of consciousness. A very personal and spiritual record, where each song carries a different feeling. Despite his youth, Julian has already shown his work at Jamaica’s Sumfest and Sunsplash, has toured Japan, Brazil and Mexico and, once again, comes to show all his charisma and dedication to reggae in Brazil.
