On January 29, 2005, the V World Social Forum took place. It is an open meeting space for deepening reflection, the democratic debate of ideas, the formulation of proposals, the free exchange of experiences and the articulation for effective actions, of civil society entities and movements that oppose neoliberalism and the domination of the world by capital and any form of imperialism, and are committed to building a planetary society centered on human beings.
The São Paulo reggae band Sensimilla Dub shared the stage with the bands Leão de Judah and Produto Nacional, the pioneering reggae band in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. After the shows mentioned above, it was Sensimilla Dub's turn to take the stage. Unknown to most, her competence and humility quickly won over the public.
At the end of the presentation, a fact to be highlighted. During the song "Litoral Norte", in which the beaches of São Paulo are mentioned, the São Paulo residents present showed their faces singing the song from beginning to end. Lots of praise from those who liked it and those who played, making Sensimilla Dub present at upcoming shows in the state.
