A movement created by musicians fights for the advancement and professionalization of national reggae!
At the beginning of 2014, from the union of some musicians and influential people in Brazilian reggae, the "Movimento Reggae Brasil" emerged, which aims not only to professionalize the rhythm in the country, but also to standardize basic and technical musical requirements. The leaders of the movement are veterans Kiko Tupinambá, businessman and representative of the band Planta e Raiz, and singer Neto Trindade, in addition to the reinforcement of more than 40 influential bands such as Mato Seco, Leões de Israel, Solano Jacob, Maneva, Sensimilla Dub, among others.

TIME TO ACT

The Movement plans actions such as the launch of a collection of songs by the movement's artists that will be distributed free of charge in several cities, in addition to dissemination through partner social networks. Furthermore, the group also intends to hold commemorative events on National Reggae Day, which is celebrated on May 11th, in accordance with law no. Guided by the reggae principles of love, peace, union and harmony, the Reggae Brasil Movement aims to show that Brazilian reggae, due to its artistic and cultural quality, can be heard by everyone.
