Atlântica Beer's Forreggae Fridays are getting more and more popular, as could be... nature, good music, pleasant atmosphere, in short, completely in line with the profile of the audience in question. For the last night of February 19th, the bands Filosofia Reggae, Caiana, To Fly, Erva de Guiné and Forrópoeira were chosen to entertain a good audience that was already in the mood with the clubbing hits, and with the view on the banks of the Guarapiranga dam.
Starting with the forró of Erva de Guiné, the first couples formed to contemplate all the magic of the northeastern rhythm. With a cover of Forrueiros and Raiz do Sana, it wasn't difficult to win over the audience. The approval was evident, and the song itself, "Sol e Lua", was an example of this.
To keep the bodies together, Forrópoeira prepares a set list with several of their own compositions, including "Meu Sonho", which is part of their new CD. When the show itself was performed, the crowd went wild, and the floor of Atlântica Beer became more worn out with the enthusiasm of the couples. For her first appearance with the band, vocalist Mariana sings "Trajetória de Mutantes". Then, reggae takes over at the hands of To Fly.
"As Cores do Mundo", "O Reggae faz me Viajar" and "Reggae Raiz", are just a few examples of what the performance was like. Always covering Bob Marley, even as a tribute to his birthday, "Lively up Yourself" and "Waiting in Vain" provoke several choruses from the audience. Highlight for keyboardist Fernanda, who draws praise for her vocal power and beauty.
With Caiana, forró returns with everything! The audience joins the stage to sing together the opening song, " Vamos Fugir ". Without dropping the ball, "O Fole Roncou" and "Chinelera" are performed masterfully. "Doce Menina", "Verdadeiro Amor" and "Homem Bomba" were present on the band's set list, which received excellent reception.
Now it's time for the highlight of the night, Filosofia Reggae. With an increasingly larger audience, Filosofia showed why they are one of the most charismatic and competent bands on the circuit. "Leva a Vibração", "África" and "Minha Rosa", make Atlântica Beer rock with vocals full of attitude from Denise and Danusa. To close with a flourish, the house becomes one voice to accompany Filosofia Reggae with the success, "Sentimento Bom". This was Atlântica Beer's sixth Forreggae, which promises a full house for next week's big attraction, Ponto de Equilíbrio.
