Afroreggae presents a plaque of thanks to Vell Rangel and Ras Bernardo!

Afroreggae presents

Vell Rangel and Ras Bernardo received a thank you plaque from Afroreggae for their participation in the cultural group's birthday party, which took place at Circo Voador last month, where they performed alongside the group Kitoto. The delivery will be on May 20th at a show in Rio Sampa. The reggae band Kitoto is formed by young people from Vigário Geral. The group's members began rehearsing in mid-2002, beginning to shape the band.

Naturally, many difficulties arose, but with the will of the young people and everyone's dedication, the work was consolidated. A few months later, the band Kitôto - named after a city in Tanzania - became a reality and participated in the celebration of GCAR's 10th anniversary. In May 2004, Kitôto opened a Cidade Negra show, on Copacabana Beach, at the “Pão Music” event. The group has also participated in some editions of Conexões Urbanas.
