Legendary Lee Perry and the Digitaldubs Sound System perform at Circo Voador!

At the age of 15, April Pro Rock, one of Brazil's most important pop music festivals, which takes place annually in Recife, comes to a special moment in its trajectory. The date is a milestone and translates the importance of the event in the Brazilian musical and cultural calendar. For the edition APR 2007 - 15 years, producers Paulo André Pires, Melina Hickson, Sonally Pires and Verena Petitinga prepared good news. The APR will have editions in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. The Rio edition takes place on April 14 (Saturday) at the Flying Circus, with the legendary Lee "Scratch" Perry and Digitaldubs Sound System. One of reggae's most innovative artists, Lee "Scratch" Perry presents, in Rio, his new dub and poetry project, "Panic in Babylon". On stage, Lee Perry is accompanied by Stephen Wright (guitar), Kirk Service (bass), Noel Salmon (keyboards) and Sinclair Seales (drums). Formed by MPC, Nelson Meirelles and Cristiano Dubmaster, Digitaldubs is the first sound team specialized in reggae in Rio de Janeiro. In the shows, they take turns in the pickups their valuable arsenal of reggae classics and current dancehall tunes, mixing their own productions and unique stunts.
