Acclaimed even by traditional reggae audiences, Beatles cover band The Beats plays at Via Funchal!

The Beatles are unanimous in music. Established artists praise and confess some type of influence such as Gregory Isaacs, Nasio Fontaine, and many other vocal trios such as Mighty Diamonds, Culture, in short, the boys from Liverpool are respected around the world. There are even compilations with various artists such as John Holt, Israelites, Maytals, among others, remaking the Beatles' immortal hits with the unmistakable touch of Reggae Roots. This is "Tribute to the Beatles Reggae Style", but there is also the Argentinean "Album Verde" and even independent versions in DUB, as in video by "Eleonor Rigby" at the end of this article. On July 21st, the most respected Beatles cover band in the world, The Beats, will descend on Via Funchal for a single performance. Founded 20 years ago, in the city of Buenos Aires, the band THE BEATS was recognized by "Beatles Annual Convention", from Liverpool, England, as the Best Beatle Band in the World. What we will see on stage is the only scenic-musical show that exists worldwide about the music and history of the Beatles. “ENGLAND FOR YOU” is the name of the show that will be presented in Via Funchal and is the result of a new trip to the United Kingdom, in which THE BEATS shows all the physical places, which had to do with the Beatles' history, in Liverpool and London. During the show there will be a screening of a special filmed entirely in England, led by the band's creators, where the public will see the places where the band lived and formed. The band renews its show year after year, so fans will be impressed by this new stance on the scene and will be able to enjoy new surprises, with the magical quality that only THE BEATS usually evoke in their shows. In this show, they use the only complete collection of musical instruments and amplifiers in the world, the same one used by the four geniuses from Liverpool. For the ambience of each act, in addition to changing the instruments depending on the period in question, "BEATS" has complete clothing that the Beatles wore between 1962 and 1970, their magical decade. There are nine acts that are divided between music, video and behavior (manners), telling the fantastic story of the Beatles. Without a doubt an unforgettable show.
