Exclusive! All about Verão Reggae with Eric Donaldson, the year's first international event!

Verão Reggae, an event that took place on January 5th at Arembepe beach, close to the capital of Bahia, brought together big names in national reggae such as Nengo Vieira, Adão Negro, Moa Anbesa and Mosiah in addition to the international Eric Donaldson (Jamaica).

MOSIAH

The Reggae night was opened by the band Mosiah, a group from Salvador that has two CDs released and a captive audience. A major delay occurred in the stage assembly, which according to Event Production was caused by the contracted company that did not perform the service as planned. But in any case, the problem did not take away the shine of the night that was celebrated by many.

BLACK ADAM

The second attraction at Verão Reggae 2 was the band Adão Negro, which on the occasion created a repertoire with songs that reflect each moment of their career. From hits that made the group stand out like "Adão Negro" and "Botar um" to tracks from the new album - "Pele Negra". During the shows and breaks, the public also enjoyed a DJ who played in an arena set up on the other side of the stage, which represented another option for everyone.

NENGO VIEIRA

Nengo Vieira, one of the most celebrated by the public took to the stage singing his greatest hits and new songs, which he even recently showed on TV - more precisely on the Igreja Renascer channel. Nengo is living in São Paulo and every time he returns to Bahia to do a show he is well received by his audience.

MOA ANBESA

The delay that occurred at the start was compensated by the work of the stage team, who in most of the breaks managed to work quickly and not let the audience wait too long. The band Moa Anbesa, the next attraction of the night and who performs authentic Reggae Roots, played only five songs from their repertoire, as the schedule was well advanced and it was necessary to give the night's main attraction the opportunity to perform.

ERIC DONALDSON

Eric, accompanied by musicians from Moa Anbesa and guests, gave a show with their classics such as "Cinderella", "Loleeta", "Miserable Woman", "Cherry oh Baby" and "Hypocrites. Many people who didn't have high expectations were literally surprised to feel the energy and vibration of the veteran of over 40 years of career and 60 years of age. Because it was very good and also a little short, Eric's time left a taste of wanting more. We hope to see him again at Bahia soon. We hope that the Verão Reggae 3 be even better and also with great attractions!
