The Slackers, one of the biggest names in world ska, return to Brazil in August! Check it out!

Considered one of the biggest names in the history of ska, the New York group Slackers tours Brazil in August, on the 21st in Curitiba, the 22nd and 23rd in São Paulo and the 24th in Rio de Janeiro. With an incredible sound, which mixes ska, rocksteady, rhythm & blues and boogaloo (among other rhythms), Slackers has a 15-year history, two dozen releases around the world and a tour already carried out in Brazil (São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro) under their belt. This time, the group releases the album "Self Medication" here. In the opening, the Strikkly Vikkly project shows how dub is mixed live, by the hands of North American producer Victor Rice, responsible for masterpieces such as the albums "Dub Side Of The Moon" and "Radiodread". Firebug, from São Paulo, shows tracks from the album "On The Move", a recent song on MTV's 30 Bandas. Cariocas Coquetel Acapulco eC BNegão (ex-Planet Hemp), who participates in Slcakers, Firebug and Strikkly Vikkly shows, sponsor the groups.
