The single "Fyah Bun Dem", the Jamaican toaster's first work with the Brazilian sound system, is gaining more and more prominence on the global reggae scene. Pressed at Alemanha, the album reached 19th position among the best sellers at ERNIE B, the largest distributor of reggae vinyl in the world and in fourth position at Patate Records, the main store of the style, at França.
On the dancefloor, the song is on the set of sound systems King Shiloh (Holanda), Roots Garden (Inglaterra), Young Warrior (son of Jah Shaka) and spent two weeks in the "charts" (reggae charts) on Alemanha. Ranking Joe began his career in the early 70s. At the age of 14, he recorded his first single on Studio One. First disciple of U-Roy in the Star-Guv sound system, he played a fundamental role in the creation of the dancehall scene. Due to his fast-paced vocals, full of rhymes and improvisations, Ranking has already been nicknamed Bionic Deejay. At Brasil, where he toured in 2006, he is best known for his participation in the album "Dub Side of The Moon".
