Original Reggae Festival, the newest event celebrating reggae music! Check it out!

In its first edition, Original Reggae Festival 2009 aims to preserve reggae as a form of culture. Attracting not only young people, but entire families who maintain the love of music through generations. The diversity of the festival will showcase all aspects of Jamaican music, from old school such as roots, ska, early and rocksteady, to the more modern trends of dub, ragga, dancehall and new roots. The idea is to bring the concept of large festivals held around the world, which generally take place in open spaces, inside parks. Following this line, the "O.R" Festival 2009 will be held at Eco Bar, at Ribeirão Grande in Pindamonhangaba, one of the most beautiful spots in Vale do Paraíba: a region privileged by its natural diversity surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, the Mata Atlântica and the north coast of All this to leave the public fully aware of the importance of ecological preservation. On stage, 5 bands that represent the strength of reggae in the region: A Tropa (Pindamonhangaba), Estrela de Davi, União Força Fé, One of the differences is the presence of the renowned Jurassic Sound System and São Paulo, for the first time in the Valley. The rude-boys arrive with their old school set full of ska, roots, early, rocksteady, skinhead reggae, etc. Original Reggae Festival 2009 will be held on July 18, 2009, bringing music, entertainment and culture.
