The biggest Reggae festival in Brazil is back! Learn more about República do Reggae 2009!

República do Reggae is undoubtedly the biggest Reggae festival in Brazil and Latin America, and will be back in November this year. The event, which has taken place annually since 2003 at Salvador (except in 2008 when it was not held) has already brought big reggae names such as Alpha Blondy, Gregory Isaacs, U-Roy, Andrew Tosh, Ponto de Equilíbrio, Edson Gomes, among others.

For the return of this great event that reaffirms the strength of reggae in Bahia and Brazil, as it always attracts crowds of 15 to 25 thousand people, there is a promise of a more than special schedule. There are already three important bands on the national scene, one or two international attractions and also those who stood out on the local scene.

Soon we will announce the bands that will participate in República do Reggae and the Festival's news for 2009. At orkut a vote is being held to help choose the attractions, as well as the location where the show will take place. Participate by clicking HERE.
