Consagrado e muito aguardado, the Groundation confirma tour for América do Sul in March!

Consecrated as one of the three greatest powers of the new generation Reggae World Cup, Groundation already has a confirmed presence at América do Sul in March. Since their first performance here in 2005, their growth and maturity can be proven by the exponential increase in the number of fans wherever they go. In 2008, the group managed to sell out tickets in almost all venues that performed at Brasil, Argentina and Peru and record record audiences at major festivals. Songs like "Freedom Taking Over", "We Free Again", "Picture on the Wall" and more recent ones like "Here I Am" and "You can Profit" reveal the roots of this band that revolutionized the way of making reggae, especially in its motherland, the Estados Unidos. In their already released albums, Groundation features beautiful appearances by true legends of Reggae such as Don Carlos, Apple Gabriel, The Congos, Ijahman Levy, Pablo Moses and Ras Michael, all of this combined with the distinct fusion of Reggae with Jazz and elements of R&B and Soul that make the sound of Groundation adored by followers not only of Reggae, but of several other musical styles. For the 2010 tour, the group has already announced a series of new additions to its repertoire, as well as songs from a new album that is already being produced. "Here I Am", the group's most recent work, will be officially released on Brasil by Selo Surforeggae, which has been releasing other great albums on the market following the rhythm of Jah. If you are a fan of good music, get ready, because Groundation will visit several cities of Brasil and América do Sul from the first week of March. As if that weren't enough, Groundation will perform at some of the tour's shows with one of the great legends of Jamaica - Israel Vibration & Roots Radics, which opens up a series of appearances and unforgettable moments for fans of classic and contemporary Reggae.
