Anyone who was able to attend the "Dub Side of The Moon" show in 2006 knows that quality is LAW with Easy Stars All Stars, and of course it would be no different now, especially because the responsibility has increased. If it wasn't enough to reinterpret one of Pink Floyd's most brilliant albums, this renowned New York group "remade" Ok, Computer!" by RadioHead - what became "RadioDREAD" - and one of the most influential albums in history, "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band", by Beatles, which has the presence of the biggest reggae artists in the world such as Max Romeo, Mighty Diamonds, Steel Pulse, Michael Rose, among others. Clash Club, a renowned São Paulo house located at Barra Funda, was the stage for this "class" not only in show, but also in organization, respected schedules, and an excellent structure that more than lives up to the R$ 65.00 invested.

EASY STARS ALL STARS

Arriving with everything in "Got a Friend" and "Bed of Rose" from the album "Until That Day", Easy Stars All Stars raised the Clash, which had a great audience. This was divided between lovers of RadioHead, Pink Floyd, Beatles and of course, good old Reggae Music. When "Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" started, the Clash shook, and the sequence was for the Beatlemaniacs on duty. With "With A Little Help From My Friends", which on the album is sung by the great Luciano, and "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" by Frankie Paul, the house shook the structures, and soon after the requests for Pink Floyd and RadioHead began to appear. Even so, the ska version for "She’s Leaving Home", which is very slow in the Beatles original, made everyone dance.
When the show seemed to lean towards the "boys from Liverpool", the Pink Floyd crowd was surprised by "Breath", the transition "On The Run" and "Money", which at the first touches of Bass' famous phrase, generated a spine-chilling uproar. The sequence was left to the English of RadioHead, or in fact, RadioDREAD, the "disoriented" version of Easy Stars All Stars. "Lucky" and "Let Down" were sung from beginning to end with great reception, and "Paranoid Android" closed the killer sequence. Without much time to breathe, the band sent out one of the best versions made since "Dub Side of The Moon", and it left the Clash in the greatest vibration. It was "When I’m 64", original by Beatles, and it's so good it even gives the impression that it was conceived in Reggae rhythm. Without dropping the ball, two more versions of Beatles to go down in history: "Lovely Rita" and the beautiful "A Day in the Life", performed on the album by the great Michael Rose, former member of the legendary Black Uhuru. Easy Stars even performed "Electioneering" (by RadioDread) before leaving the stage. For the encore, one of the most requested songs of the night... "Time" by Pink Floyd. When the synthesizer started sending out the sound of the clock and all those "crazy" effects from the CD, Clash was getting ready to become one voice: "Ticking away the moments That make up a dull day..." - SPECTACULAR. To close with a flourish, "Karma Police" (RadioDread), closed what was certainly one of the best shows of 2009. Ras I Ray, bassist and leader of Easy Stars, thanked Brazil very much and said he was very pleased to perform the last show of the tour in São Paulo. Special thanks to Zeroneutro, responsible for this and other great tours normally discredited by many Brazilian producers, such as The Congos, U-Roy, Mad Professor, etc. Bring on Mighty Diamonds, Twinkle Brothers, Max Romeo...
