Matisyahu in Brazil! Jewish reggae singer to play shows in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro!

Reggae singer Matthew Paul Miller, better known as Matisyahu, will perform in two Brazilian cities only in April 2010. The shows take place on April 10 (Saturday) at Circo Voador (Rio de Janeiro) and on April 11 (Sunday) at Via Funchal (São Paulo). Matisyahu blends Jamaican rhythm with lyrics that carry the teachings of Judaism. Hip-hop and ska are also part of the singular repertoire of the North American musician. His most recent studio album is called "Light" and was released in August 2009. The highlight of this new record is the song "One Day", a worldwide chart success that recently received a new version featuring special guest Akon, a global R&B celebrity.
