"Bob Marley and the Golden Age of Reggae" brings unpublished photos of the king in an unmissable book!

"Bob Marley and the Golden Age of Reggae" is not just another simple book by the "king of reggae", but rather a sensitive selection of photos, many unpublished, from a very important phase that triggered everything we know about the great third world star. The work was carried out by photojournalist Kim Gottlieb, also wife of Jeff Walker from Island Records, and features incredible photos of Bob Marley recently embarking on his promising solo career, in mid-1975 and 1976.

She has also photographed other legends such as Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Toots Hibbert, Burning Spear, Justin Hinds, Max Romeo, The Heptones, Ras Michael, Jacob Miller with the Inner Circle, Third World and the great producer Lee "Scratch" Perry. The book features more than 200 photos of Bob and other legends and the book's release states: "Most of Bob Marley and the Golden Age of Reggae's photos have never been seen in more than 30 years, in fact, not even published."
The book also contains an overview of Jamaican music written by the venerated archivist and historian Roger Steffens, as well as recollections from music journalist and filmmaker, Cameron Crowe. "Bob Marley and the Golden Age of Reggae" will be released in September 2010.
