Planta & Raiz releases a remix of "Raiou" and flies the Brazilian flag on an unprecedented tour of Australia!

The evolution of a job is natural for those who aim to make a living from their profession. In music it is no different, especially for artists who live their daily lives in search of new paths. Planta & Raiz reaches 12 years of career looking for new paths and partners and the newest to join this evolution is DJ Cia, who has just released Remix from Raiou, the 1st single from the CD Manifestação do Amor. DJ Cia began his career at the age of 16 and since then has gone through several momentos which today has transformed him into one of the biggest Producers and DJs in the country. He has worked with big national and international names, played around the world and has 2 Prêmios Hutúz, one of which was Melhor DJ da Década in 2009. One of the first momentos was winning the 1st Hip Hop DJ championship, organized by KL Jay and Xis, from then on he went through several groups until founding the consecrated RZO from which came Negra Li and Helião. Invitations to show his talent as a Producer/DJ kept coming, see who he has already made songs with: Caetano Veloso (A Foreign Sound), Daniela Mercury (Balé Mulato), Elza Soares, Charlie Brown Jr (acoustic MTV), NX Zero (Projeto Paralelo), Negra Li, D2, Seu Jorge (new album to be released), Nature (EUA), U-God (Wu Tang), Sway (Londres) and is currently producing the Racionais MCs CD. As an artist he has the project Big Ben Bang Jonhson which features Helião, Sandrão, Ice Blue, Mano Brown + guests. His DJ performance reached Japão, Austrália, Londres, Espanha, California, Nova Iorque, and América Latina. Here in Brazil he played with Africa Bambaata, Snoop Dogg, Akon, Black Eyed Peas, Ja Rule, 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes. All this beat from Hip Hop comes together with the rhythm of Reggae and the fusion was very rich, with the participation in the introduction of the song by rapper Geléia from the group Guerrilheiros – SP, Raiou hits the bass in the chest so turn up the sound to feel the bass drum, percussion, brass and the unmistakable Zeider's voice remixed. In addition to launching mento from Remix, Planta & Raiz will be performing an unprecedented tour on the 24th of February through Austrália. Planta will be performing in places like the capital Sidney and also at Costa do Ouro on February 27th and 28th.
