THE NEW DISC
In June 2010, Digitaldubs released album #1 (Number One), the fourth of their career. In this work, the most important sound system in the country shows the evolution of its sound after almost 10 years on the road. In addition to the traditional presence of several guest vocalists – including living reggae legends such as the Jamaicans Ranking Joe and Earl Sixteen, and the Englishman Brinsley Forde (ex-Aswad) – the album features well-crafted instrumental themes that mix electronic elements with electronic instructions acoustics. The album has already had good repercussion in the media with positive reviews in the Brazilian newspapers O Globo and Folha de SP and in the English magazine The Wire and the German magazine Riddim.Category
