Planta e Raiz has become one of the most prominent bands on the national scene in the last ten years. As one of the few that manages to transcend the barriers traditionally imposed on groups that play reggae and win over audiences of all ages, social classes and musical preferences, the band has gained national and international respect. Promoting the new album, the group recently released a remix of "Raiou" (track from the CD "Manifestação do Amor") and celebrates the success with a series of shows throughout Brazil and abroad. Proving their support on the national scene, the band Planta e Raiz was invited for an interview on Programa do Jô, by Rede Globo. The interview aired on the night of Friday, June 17th along with a performance of "Família" by Titãs.
