Andrew Tosh brings roots reggae to the 9th Latin American Youth Camp in Icapuí/CE!

The Jamaican Andrew Tosh, whose most recent album "Legacy" was nominated for a Grammy, had a strong presence at the 9th Latin American Youth Camp at Icapuí/CE on July 29th.
Andrew was the main attraction of the first night of the free event that brought together thousands of people from different parts of the world. The very well organized event brought together round tables, debates, workshops, theater, cinema, exhibitions and of course shows by names like Andrew Tosh, Cidade Negra and Preta Gil.
The stage was set up on the edge of the paradisiacal beach of Icapuí, and the weather couldn't have been better for the parade of TOSH classics. Songs such as "Not gonna give it up", "Bush Doctor", "Pick myself up", "Get Up Stand Up", "African", "Johnny B. Good" and "One Love" (music by Bob Marley kindly sung by Andrew at the request of the organizers) brought joy to those present who enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere in total harmony with nature.

Heir to the legacy of Peter Tosh (founder of The Wailers with Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer), Andrew was on tour in Europe and was invited to come to Brasil especially for the event. Tosh is now heading across Europe with shows in France, Portugal, Belgium and Germany, preparing for the release of "Eye to eye", his next completely original album.
Congratulations to D&E, Nativa Promo, Deputado Dedé Teixeira and everyone involved in organizing the event. Attitudes like this should be followed across the country, bringing music and culture to people.
