It is undeniable that women are increasingly gaining space in various sectors of society. And in music it's no different. Jimmy Luv, one of the pioneers in the Brasil ragga scene, analyzing how the more underground scenes are going through parties and movements on social media (such as rap and ragga), decided to make a mixtape just with MCs and singers who work in these scenes.
To this end, he invited 13 "amigas" to record in his studio - Sala do Rex (in São Paulo) - a dancehall-style track. All the songs follow this ragga/dancehall trend that has dominated the dancefloors of big parties across national capitals. Participating in the Mixtape "Elas São 13!" are the singers Lei di Dai, Livia Cruz, MC Gra, Karol de Souza, Suppa Flá, Mis Ivy, Nathy MC, Luana Jones, Bebel du Gueto, Poetiza, Pamelloza, Yasmine and Alina.
There are different topics from a female point of view. There are conscious lyrics, party lyrics, lyrics about relationships, in short, each track is special... Each track is "puro fya"! After almost a year idealizing and producing this mixtape, Jimmy can finally release the final result of this endeavor to everyone. Listen and dance!
