The world is slowly losing the great Reggae legends, and now it says goodbye to Leonard Dillon, lead singer of the internationally known group "The Ethiopians". Leonard passed away on September 28th in Jamaica and was 68 years old. The group he formed with Stephen Taylor and Aston Morris in the 60s produced great rocksteady hits such as "Engine 54", "Train to Skaville" and "Woman a Capture Man".
Dillon's last album under the name The Ethiopians (in new lineup) was released in 1999 under the name "Tuffer than Stone" (Harder than Rock). Lung cancer, which was also diagnosed in the brain and prostate, took the life of one of rocksteady's greatest idols.
Check out this and other legends that have already left us, in the special section "In Memoriam".
