Bambu Station brings Virgin Islands Reggae into Brazil once again through the front door!
One of the most important bands on the Ilhas Virgens - Bambu Station scene, continues to grow. Last Saturday, April 28th, the group completed its tour of 11 shows across the country, a feat that will be remembered by its musicians who were able to visit different cities and regions of Brasil and connect with the public in a very close way. The band certainly gained thousands of new fans over the three weeks of shows across the country alongside groups such as Mato Seco, Ponto de Equilíbrio, Planta e Raiz and Tribo de Jah. In some cities like Salvador, whose fans had been waiting for many years for the band's unprecedented performance, the commotion and exchange of energy was so great that it was possible to see people crying in front of the stage.

Bambu Station performed unique shows, with the incredible and striking presence of a 4-part harmony throughout, in addition to the extremely heavy instrumental. In the complete lineup, Jalani Horton (vocals and guitar), Kedroy "Cat" Mitchell (vocals and keyboards), Kojo Johnson (vocals and percussion), Matt "Guinnee" Miller (vocals and drums), Henry "Ayjee" Beazer (bass) and Jerry Simon (solo guitar) set the tone of authentic Ilhas Virgens reggae that will certainly not be forgotten around here. The band now returns to Estados Unidos for a performance at Buckroe Beach Festival, in the state of Virgínia. Furthermore, the launch party for the new CD "Children of Exodus" (which came out on April 24th on Itunes) will take place in the American capital (Washington, DC) on May 6th. Many of the band's more than special moments with fans during their time at Brasil can be found on the group's Facebook (facebook.com/bambustation) or on the official youtube channel (youtube.com/bambulife).
