Veja Luz launches its 1st album at the Cedo e Sentado project at Studio SP!

Full of guests and with remixes by Buguinha Dub, the band performs live today, June 26th. On Tuesday night (26/06), the band Veja Luz will perform the debut show of the album of the same name alongside Buguinha Dub in a performance at Studio SP, through the Cedo e Sentado project, starting at 9pm. Formed in 2008 by Finnu Ras (vocals), Cebola (keyboards), Marcus Rosa (Bass and Vocals), Marcelo Caveman (drums and percussion) and Nando Rangel (guitar), the band shows all its versatility and vibrancy alongside several guest artists who participate in the debut album such as Dada Yute, Buguinha Dub, Gerson da Conceição, Funk Buia and Leandro Kintê. In addition to the guests, the night will feature special interventions by Sérgio Vaz (Cooperifa) and Gaspar (Z’África Brasil) who will be the master of ceremonies. Known for producing albums by Nação Zumbi, Mundo Livre S/A, Racionais Mc’s, Cordel do Fogo Encantado, among others, the award-winning producer and musician from Pernambuco Buguinha Dub contributed to the album Viva Luz by transforming the track I Go into a fertilizer version. The opening of the night is his project “Vitrola Adubada”, which uses analog equipment from the 70s connected to a laptop and top-of-the-line digital sound cards. The Rio de Janeiro MC Neguedemundo and Gaspar from Z’Africa Brasil enter with their rhymes and improvisations.

EARLY and SITTING

With free entry every Tuesday, Cedo e Sentado is a showcase of the multiplicity of new Brazilian music, carried out by Studio SP in partnership with Fora do Eixo since the beginning of 2011. From June this year, the project adopted a new format. Entry remains free and now the public can evaluate Quanto Vale o Show and make a spontaneous contribution upon leaving, contributing R$5, R$10 or R$15 and the total raised is distributed in full among the artists. The objective is to encourage the continuity and enhancement of the band's scene and career.
