New dates confirmed for the Groundation, Mato Seco and Bambu Station tour in Brazil!
March 2013 will be marked by yet another union of great Reggae exponents on tour in Brazil. None other than Groundation (EUA), Mato Seco (BRA) and Bambu Station (IV) will be together echoing the bass and spreading the positive word of reggae wherever they go.

GROUNDATION

(Live with "Chant Down Babylon" and "Bad Card")
Groundation has already shown on five continents why it is one of the biggest powers in Reggae worldwide. This time the band brings the unprecedented show of "Tributo a Bob Marley", a project that started in 2000 and is a success in Europe and EUA. But the Groundation doesn't just play the world-renowned hits from Marley's “compilations”, a characteristic of other well-known tributes. The band delves into the universe of Bob's music and songs that are also known and loved, but are rarely performed live by other groups. The presentation features ten musicians, a complete lineup with female backing vocals, brass, percussion, guitars (including a special appearance by the legendary American guitarist Will Bernard), organ and piano, bass and drums. The idea is not to replicate or imitate Bob's music, but rather to repaint the idol's work with new and unique colors from the sonic palette, creating new and unique versions of unforgettable songs.

MATO SECO

(Mato Seco with "Tempos de Flor")
Mato Seco is today the fastest growing band on the Brazilian scene and will be representing national reggae by releasing their new album "Seco e Ainda Vivo". In addition to the participation of Groundation himself, guests such as Max Romeo (JAM), Osvaldinho do Acordeon and Nazireu Rupestre were combined under the production of the master Errol "Flabba" Holt on this great album. Keeping the roots and ideals that precede them evident, the band was not afraid to rediscover themselves, try new things and also keep their messages strong. Playing the traditional “Roots Rock Reggae”, flirting with SKA, being part of Groove and dressing in the feeling of Blues, the Brazilian and human way of making music with the heart comes alive on this album.

BAMBU STATION

(Bambu Station with "Times Is Dread")
To complete the team, Bambu Station, a band from the Virgin Islands acclaimed and respected by all international critics who came to the country to release their new album "Children of Exodus" which achieved immediate success since its birth, remaining for 40 days leading the ranking of the Reggae category with 4 songs present on TOP 10, even surpassing the always supreme “Legend” by Bob Marley. Bambu Station comes from the same lineage of artists such as Midnite, Dezarie and Reemah and has already shown its full potential in more than 20 countries, including Brazil, where it appeared for the first time in 2010. Bambu Station's international explosion occurred with the acclaimed album "One Day", which led to tours across Europe and the United States, having even won the award for "Best reggae album of 2003" by the American award "DC Reggae Awards". This great team will be performing in some Brazilian cities. Check out the confirmed dates!
