Artists from the Virgin Islands hold an event calling for peace in St. Thomas!

One of the biggest names in reggae in the Virgin Islands, "Pressure", recently organized a show at the end of August aimed at calling for peace in the Virgin Islands.

More than three thousand people attended the event. Lately, the violence there has been so serious that authorities have started issuing warnings to potential tourists.

In 2012, Pressure was the victim of a robbery and was shot. Like him, Philip Merchant, former bassist of Midnite, was also seriously injured. Many other well-known people were victims of the violence that plagues the islands, such as event promoter Shamal Smith, who was murdered.
