Reggae returns in full force to Brazil's capital! Brasília hosts Fyah Cultura Black in November!

Brasília has always been a city of cultural diversity, including the birthplace of great national artists. With Reggae this was no different, since 2005 the country's capital has almost always been on the tour route of major attractions such as Steel Pulse, Don Carlos, SOJA, Israel Vibration, Midnite, Skatalites, The Wailers and many others. However, around four years ago Brasília entered an almost starvation of major shows of the genre, a hiatus that will be broken in November of this year. To celebrate this return, the “FYAH - Cultura Black” festival that will take place on 11/30 has already confirmed two major global reggae attractions - Groundation, directly from the USA and Dezarie, from the Virgin Islands, both with their complete lineups. The Festival aims to explore various rhythms of black music and in its first year pays homage to Reggae and Rap, both created in Jamaica. In addition to the international attractions, the presence of the MEIAUM group, representing the Federal District, has also been confirmed. Other names will be announced soon. Groundation returns to Brasília after continued success in other shows in the capital, and releasing their new album “The Next Generation”, which comes out in September. Dezarie is one of the biggest phenomena in the Virgin Islands, and has a legion of fans, including in the savannah who have been waiting for her for many years. Keep an eye out for more news soon!
