Check out the new album by Raiz Tribal, a band formed by sons of members of Tribo de Jah!
Raiz Tribal has as its heritage the passion for reggae coming from one of the main bands of the genre in the country, the Maranhão-based Tribo de Jah. Gill Enes and Keké Enes are the sons of Netto Enes (guitarist and vocalist of Tribo de Jah) and Leo Rabelo, son of Aquiles Rabelo (bassist and vocalist of Tribo de Jah) to complete this power trio. Even with the DNA of Tribo de Jah, Raiz Tribal in its 13-year career gained its own identity, played alongside renowned national and international bands and gained recognition and admiration from those who play reggae in the country. The band has just released its 3rd CD, entitled "Novas Trilhas", whose tracks were hand-picked to pay homage to the more than 400 years of São Luís. The album, which at the same time has a great instrumental weight in a totally "Lovers" atmosphere, features appearances by Zeca Baleiro, Fauzy Beydoun (Tribo de Jah) and Nengo Vieira.

"Novas Trilhas" will feature big names in Brazilian music as well as Zeca Baleiro on the track "A Ilha" (song in honor of São Luís), Fauzi Beydoun (Tribo de Jah) on the track " Quando o São João Chegar" (reinterpretation of the song written by him that refers to regional culture and the state of Maranhão) and the participation of Nengo Vieira (O Reggaeman gospel from Brazil) in the song "Terra Prometida".
