BOMBSHELL! Jamaican singer Shaggy will perform in São Paulo this May!
Who doesn't remember the explosive hit "Boombastic" that invaded Brazilian radio stations in 1995? Shaggy shook up the global reggae scene, adding to the list of artists like Inner Circle and Shabba Ranks, who placed Jah's rhythm as one of the main ones of the 90s. Now, the star is making two presentations on the SESC network, where he will take an unmissable tour through the biggest hits of his career.

As a teenager, Orville Richard Burrell received the nickname Shaggy - an allusion to the character Shaggy (originally Shaggy) - from Scoobie Doo due to his thinness. He enlisted in the American army and even went to the Gulf War. From single to single he conquered his space until he broke through with "Boombastic" in 1995 and even won a Grammy. Shaggy currently has a large studio in Jamaica - "The Ranch" - where he produces and records new talents and established artists from the island, as well as carrying out solidarity campaigns for needy children and foundations.
