May 27, 2014 will go down in history. The band Mato Seco promoted a chilling tribute to the king of reggae with world-class quality. Bob Marley would certainly be proud of the amount of respect, dedication and competence employed in MARLEY EXPERIENCE.
Wanting to reach a large audience - and in fact they did - the presentation was broadcast via YouTube with free access, where minutes before the start people were already making hundreds of anxious comments.

In "Punky Reggae Party" the voice of Rodrigo Piccolo was evident, who walked in the risky notes and tones that Bob Marley reached. At times the resemblance was incredible. Respect for fidelity was the premise of the band, which not only had appropriate instruments to strictly follow the commitment to sound, but also with the participation of André Silva (ZR) from the band Nazireu Rupestre on keyboards, Thales “Lion Farmer” from the band Leões de Israel on guitar, and Talita Cabral and Srta. Paola on backing vocals.
Available on YouTube, you can watch this authentic and moving tribute whenever you want, whether to review it or to experience this "experiência" for the first time. Banda Mato Seco, this work will echo around the world. We are proud.

THE SHOW
When "Natural Mystic" began to be performed, the feeling that this entire production would be magical was intense and instantaneous. The fidelity and respect for the Wailers' arrangements was incredible, showing that Mato Seco, in addition to being one of the main reggae bands in Brazil, is in constant evolution. The whimsy was also in the look. A simple setting with warm shades of red, casual clothes and lots of posture, almost automatically recalled the great performance of Bob Marley and the Wailers in the legendary 1973 "Old Grey Whistle Test".
