Reggae returns to American TV in grand style with Chronixx! Watch it on Surforeggae!

The new highlight of Jamaican reggae achieved a feat not only for his career, but for the entire global reggae movement. The artist was a guest on ’The Tonight Show’ on NBC with Jimmy Fallon, a very important American talk show. Seeing Chronixx on American TV and in prime time is to remember reggae in the 80s and 90s, when the rhythm was always present everywhere in the mainstream media. Chronixx sang live ’Here Comes Trouble’ - present on his new album ’Dread & Terrible’ - which seems to follow the same successful formula as ’Welcome to Jamrock’ by Damian Marley, where the instrumental is also derived from a hit by Jamaican Ini Kamoze, recorded and produced by Sly & Robbie. In the TV presentation, Chronixx also sings an excerpt from ’Reverence’ by fellow Jamaican Jah9 and ’Modern Day Judas’, by his fellow countryman Jesse Royal, who is also in the same riddim, in this case "Wings with Me" (listen) by Ini Kamoze. On August 26th he performs in Central Park in New York.
