Farewell to one of Jamaica's most legendary percussionists! See it on Surforeggae!

78 last Monday, August 78, the legendary Jamaican percussionist Uzziah ’Sticky’ Thompson passed away, victim of a massive heart attack. Sticky was one of the most emblematic percussionists in the history of Jamaican music and began his career in the mid-60 while still at SKA. In recent years he has worked a lot with Ziggy Marley, but he has recorded with a multitude of artists such as Gregory Isaacs, Culture, Horace Andy, The Mighty Diamonds and many others.
