The band Vibrações raised the reggae music flag on the first day of the program Superstar, broadcast by Rede Globo de Televisão. There was much discussion about the possible bands that would take reggae to the stage of the Globo program, and when Vibrações was announced, the certainty was that Jah's rhythm would certainly be well represented.
That is exactly what happened. Performing a cover of the song "Ela Partiu", a classic by the icon Tim Maia, Vibrações showed all the groove of reggae with the confidence of a band that has not been on the road for only a short time. Calm and composed, the band sounded perfect and extremely well balanced, exciting not only the audience but also the judges Thiaguinho, Sandy and Paulo Ricardo.
Reaching 78%, the band not only made the "curtain" rise, but also stayed in first place for much of the program, being surpassed only by Trio Sinhá Flor, an excellent all-female forró group that reached 84% approval.
A positive point for the rhythms of the people, where a nationally prominent program that attracts practically every rhythm spread throughout the country has forró and reggae in first and second place in its ranking, respectively.
Stay tuned for the next stages of Superstar and download the app to take part in the live voting. FYAH!
