Kailash & Kastrup! Learn all about the partnership that crossed generations and languages to create 'Mundo Melhor'

It's no secret that today's children will be tomorrow's leaders. Therefore, it is essential to educate them from the most varied perspectives of life, including music. Great talents often awaken very early - and that was the case with Kailash. The now nine-year-old California boy was born with a natural affinity for sounds and rhythms. At the age of three, Kailash took formal lessons in classical piano, channeling his gift in a great way. He was educated through rhythmic expressions from all parts of the world: from Jazz to Reggae, from Afro-Cuban and Classical Indian music, to American Pop. And it was in this whirlwind that he met an important Brazilian musical activist: Lucas Kastrup. Lucas is a drummer and composer of some of the main hits of the renowned Ponto de Equilíbrio, a reference in Brazilian and Latin American Reggae. Kailash and Kastrup's meeting gave rise to the beautiful "Better World". The track also came out in a Dub version and has just been released on all digital platforms distributed by the Surforeggae Sound System Brasil label. The beginning of the partnership that promises other releases came from a "viral" video of Kailash singing "Novo Dia", a song recorded by Ponto de Equilíbrio and The Congos. Kastrup was impressed by the child's talent, who despite not speaking Portuguese perfectly reproduces the words and sounds in our language. "When my father and I heard the first excerpts of 'Mundo Melhor', we were enchanted. It is inspiring and we knew that to complete it it would take focus, dedication and hard work. When I hear the final result, I feel a good feeling and a lot of pride. I feel lucky to participate in this project", reveals Kailash. Lucas Kastrup, composer of the track, adds: "The lyrics of 'Mundo Melhor' narrate the message of a child who calls on the new generation to build a new, good and fairer world."
