KEEP MOVING FORWARD! Planta and Raiz releases sensacional EP with capa feita pelo Surforeggae! Listen!

With 17 years on the road, the band Planta e Raiz is one of the main acts on the national reggae scene, and the quality of their songs has been winning fans around the world. Innovating and reinventing themselves, the goal has always been to keep fans satisfied, and the new EP "Segue em Frente" promises to hit that mark. With well-crafted lyrics and arrangements, the peculiar 'vibe' in the band's compositions has never been so present. Composed of 6 new songs and an acoustic variation, the album features Ivo Mozart on "Pode Ser", keyboardist Fernando Tristão, Marcelo Curumim on sax and flute, Markos Will on trumpet and Joabe on trombone, who also sign the arrangements together with Planta. Mixing is by Miro Vaz (Estúdio Music Hero), and mastering was handled by Stéfano Capelli (Estúdio Creative Mastering / Italy). The album was recorded at bassist Samambaia's studio, and production is by Planta e Raiz itself.

GRAPHIC CONCEPT

The cover art and entire artistic project was developed by Rangel Melkunas from the Surforeggae team, who had already illustrated the cover of legendary Don Carlos's last album, "Changes". The inspiration for the cover came precisely from the positive messages of two EP songs, "Todo Dia" and "Segue em Frente" itself. When I first heard the album I already felt another great Planta album was coming. The messages of "Todo Dia" and "Segue em Frente" made the drawing appear on paper! The vibe is to keep moving forward, fight and in every way leave the world's troubles behind, follow a path of light..." - Rangel explains.
