It is no secret that there is a shortage of reggae programs or even songs of the genre being played on FM radio stations across Brazil. In Bahia, Rádio 100 FM, the state's widest-reaching broadcaster, decided to change that story. With listeners in 350 of the state's 417 cities, Rádio 100 opened its doors to the program "Se Liga no Reggae", broadcast every Saturday from 6 PM to 8 PM. The program is presented and directed by Rafael Costa and Flavus Regis, members of Portal Surforeggae, and is playing an important role in energizing the local and national scene. Every week, "Se Liga no Reggae" is followed by listeners from nearly all of Brazil and has already registered audiences in more than 64 countries.

Besides the updated playlist with the best of national and international reggae, news, artist information and show schedules, one of the main attractions of "Se Liga no Reggae" is its guests. The program maintains direct contact with the heavyweights of the genre and conducts constant interviews and acoustic sessions at the station.
