O reggae says goodbye ao grande Peter Broggs, dono de vários hits of história of reggae!
The year 2015 is coming to an end, but not before claiming another loss in Jamaican music. Reggae fans around the world received news on the 19th of the passing of the legendary Peter Broggs. The singer's official page confirmed the death without giving details about the cause, but the 61-year-old Jamaican suffered from throat cancer and, after a stroke in 2004, had half his body paralyzed, with great difficulty speaking. He also suffered from glaucoma and had lost his sight.
(Listen to the heavy "No Ism Pon De Riddim")
The Jamaican began his career in the early 70s and worked with other legendary singers such as Gregory Isaacs and Bingy Bunny. Broggs became best known for the hits: "Vank Out", "African Sister", International Farmer and It's Just Because I'm a Rastaman.
